My name is Margarete De Gaston.
Like many of you, I have been a caregiver. I’ve gone through many of the same heartaches and challenges, as well as precious moments of happiness that you have.
First, I was caregiver for my mother who suffered from dementia. Twenty years later, my husband and best friend developed Alzheimer’s disease. Financial problems grew as his condition became more evident. In my time of need, a miracle was sent via fax. It told me about an essential oil called Abundance from Young Living Essential Oils. It claimed to help attract positive things into your life.
It worked for me the very first day.
With a few drops of Abundance on my wrists and behind my ears, a walk in the mall became the start of a business. People were so intrigued by the scent, they had to stop and ask what fragrance I was wearing. By the time I made it halfway through the mall, four women had requested my phone number to find out how to order. I never intended to sell Young Living products, but the business started itself.
Essential oils became a part of our lives during those difficult years. I wished I had them when taking care of my mother. I believe they helped my husband, but I know for certain they made a huge difference to me. Not only did they ease the financial burden, the emotional relief these natural oils provided was priceless.
In 2005, I lost my husband to complications from Alzheimer’s. His memory lives on with me always.
Since then, I have been on a whirlwind business adventure with products I am truly passionate about. That is, in my opinion, the key to success. To this day my business thrives, and it all started from a few drops of Abundance essential oil.
Mornings are my favorite time of day, tossing a frisbee with my beloved dog Maizi. I enjoy reading, gardening and the outdoors, and feel especially blessed to have found true joy and fulfillment in all aspects of my life. I attribute much of that fulfillment to Young Living, and how its simple discovery has changed my life.
This site is for you, devoted caregiver. I hope to share what has helped me, to support you while in the trenches of caregiving.
With Gratitude and Love,
Margarete de Gaston
